Oakville Orthotics is a full service pedorthic facility owned and operated by Scott Harvie, Canadian Certified Pedorthist. Our mission is simple: to provide quality pedorthic services to individuals based on sound biomechanical and pedorthic principles and to render such services in a timely and discreet manner.
Scott established Oakville Orthotics in 1992, after having gained considerable experience in the field of pedorthics as staff pedorthist at the Foot Care Centre, Women's College Hospital, Toronto. In 1996, he founded SBI Orthotic Laboratory, which was the first accredited orthotics laboratory in Canada, and a leader in the use of computer-aided technology in the design and manufacture of foot orthotics.
As a Canadian Certified Pedorthist, Scott is part of the health care team approach to the management of painful or debilitating conditions resulting from abnormalities or limited actions of the lower limb. He has over 20 years of Pedorthic experience, both as a technician and clinician, and employs the latest technologies in the Pedorthic field, ensuring up-to-date client care.
Along with his Oakville office, Scott has clinical practices in Milton, Markdale, Meaford and Owen Sound.
